Labour seem to be particularly tin-eared at the moment. I was wondering if it's because Starmer is still on Twitter and is getting his intel about the national mood from Russian bots and far right sock-puppets?

Reacting to Labour's devastating loss to the Green Party in Gorton and Denton, Keir Starmer claims that only Labour can unite communities. I agree. He convinced Muslims to vote for a white working class woman representing a party led by a gay Jewish man.

Yes, you get the impression that somewhere inside her is a little girl, curled up in a corner, sobbing her eyes out.

I find it rather depends on the politics of the interviewee. If they are showing sympathy towards Palestine, refugees, the unemployed etc. they are mercilessly talked over and harangued. Nick Robinson can be particularly vicious and shouty, which is not the same as being analytical and tenacious.

💯 Clive Lewis is absolutely correct. Labour has lost its way. All this immigration stuff is indeed Reform-lite and isn't addressing the concerns of the majority of ordinary people. Starmer is being led by the nose by people on the right.

There will always be customers for snake oil, otherwise the trade would have died out millennia ago. A man I know who works in quite high-powered job involving satellites told me a client of his truly believes the earth is flat. That's quite some degree of cognitive dissonance right there.

Really not sure if telling Green voters they we're stupid enough to be hoodwinked by extremist anti-NATO crack dealers is the most productive way for Labour to behave. Makes them sound like they're joining Reform in a kind of Mary Whitehouse prig chorus

The Greens fought the campaign on the issues that you'd once have called core Labour values, whereas Starmer seems to be playing on Reform's pitch. I hope he takes this as a lesson but I'm not holding my breath.

I know it's been done to death but there was an interesting man on Today at 7:15 this morning talking about Calais migrants and he didn't fit their 'stop the boats' agenda but I think he'd be better off on your show, given more time to talk.

Her parents named her after Sue Ellen Ewing in Dallas - a neurotic, psychotic, alcoholic weirdo. It seems they had great ambitions for their daughter. 😂

Yep. Now bald instead of shaven and with a large beer gut and probably more tattoos, but still the same morons at heart.

Does Kimberley expect everyone with Tourette's to wear a gag all day? Maybe she does. If only there was a personal aid you could buy to stop you being intolerant, eh?

I really don't understand this latest incarnation of Labour. OK, funds have to be got from somewhere, but when I were nobbut a lass Labour encouraged me to get a decent education and 'better myself'. The right don't like an educated working class & it seems Labour aren't too keen these days either.
