In #MathsToday I did this as a starter on estimation.
With the aim of getting pupils to consider which counters are the 'significant' ones.
We started polar coordinates today in online further maths. I gave them 5 mins with desmos and a few pointers and they came up with some amazing polar curves. None of them had heard the word cardiod before though 🤯🤷
