since october, by the end of the month, i have been net positive each month. (listen, not a lot of money, but still.) and it's increased each month, too. then add in mercari where i also make sales! and overnight i made 3 sales!!

my shop has been going strong for me, surprising me every day. my net profits get higher every month. i add up both etsy and mercari (i have the same stock on both, with some other preowned things on mercari), but in the past i have ALWAYS lost money on etsy.

It's amazing to me to even think these words. I have barely written anything in the last 8 years. I've tried many times, and in last few months I kept wondering if it's just gone. If it was never meant to be. And now, here I am. It's something I want to do and I am doing. I am writing a book.

I say, "book I'm actively writing," because I began this project in November 2024 as just a cozy thing for me. I wanted some place cozy to create and exist. It's developed more and more over time (SLOWLY), and now I am simply saying it. I am writing a book. I am writing a book.

For the book I'm actively writing, I have many scenes for and tons of background information on all the main characters. But I have no structure for what it should be. These are all vignettes.

Tonight, I had a breakthrough! I realized the structure! And with it came a flood of inspiration. #writing

just a single issue and not impressed

March 1st! I wrote in my journal for two hours this morning, including a list of monthly goals, which I don't usually do. I feel this excited energy in me. This morning the sky was clear and now it's snowing, reminding me how March is an in-between time. A threshold. A time to transform. #witchsky

i want to watch Atonement again because i feel like having my heart ripped out

I'm giving it such a high rating because I enjoyed the feeling of it. I enjoyed being pulled in. [4/4]

On one hand, I feel like Thomas was trying to write something that spreads across multiple genres. On the other hand, the book came off as though it didn't quite know what it wanted to be, so there's a lot left unfinished. [3/4]

but the feeling of the friends you make and being close to them was so strong. There was much that could have been expanded on, especially the sci-fi elements regarding what was going on with plasm. [2/4]

I very much enjoyed the way this book was written so specifically from Inez's unique point-of-view. I felt drawn in close to how the Catherine House felt, and how Inez felt with her friends. It's not exactly the typical college experience, [1/4]
