I think some people hear “grants” and think that without them, scientists and government workers just have less stuff to play with at work. But grants fund salaries for students, academics, researchers, and people who work in all areas of public service.

“Pausing” grants means people don’t eat.

Question for my #HigherEd folks. Do you have any good formats you use for students to give each other feedback on their work? I want something more than "Glows and Grows" but not as heavy as a peer review that we would do for a journal. For Senior UG Ss portfolio reflections

Mine are all in practicum for the spring so their Bitmoji Classroom is meant to be for their practicum while utilizing the resources we have discussed during the semester. They really enjoy it.

I always have my last class be something "light" anyway - for the past few years in my SPED Methods course they make Bitmoji Classrooms that they can use in the spring for their student teaching. It's fun, light, we play acronym BINGO, and eat food.
