Australia’s total solar rooftop potential is 2/3 of the anticipated energy capacity in 2050 (which also likely doesn’t take into account what AI will do). This idea it can all be rooftop solar if we want to decarbonise is simply not feasible, we’ll still need large scale renewables

What’s even the point of Australian media outlets having foreign correspondents in places like the US when they don’t even break the important stories that are primarily relevant to Australia?

It’s like how the @washingtonpost.com broke the story about Indian spies being expelled from Australia

Similar to Australian Labor in some regards but an important difference is that even with fiscal caution in the 1st term, ALP didn’t pursue austerity & @albomp.bsky.social doesn’t go around publicly denigrating the party voting base when there’s disagreement

When John Howard was Prime Minister, he participated in many International Democracy Union events overseas from 1996 onwards. He even was elected the chair in 2002 while Prime Minister so attended its annual forum overseas every year as Prime Minister. The sheer desperation of this #auspol beat-up
