Reading a recent ttrpg kickstarter I got and it's great and neat but idk if I can deal with dark depressing worlds anymore. 'This is a twisted version of our world' is uh just...the escapism is not escaping you know? This is a problem as 99% of my game catalog is dark and twisted lol.

The Darkest House by Monte Cook lets you drop any ttrpg character/campaign(with a few easy conversions) into a twisted adventure through a labyrinth of haunted and mysterious rooms. Which one of your PCs/worlds would you have face the house that hates you?

I went from spending all my extra money on dragon age art commissions to spending it on ttrpg books. I feel more miserable now. Idk if it's this change tho...it might be something else in the last 3 years...hard to say. Guess I should get some art comes again just to be sure tho.
