They brought it back after scrubbing the location information for U.S. government accounts. I just checked and it’s working right now.

I had never interacted with that account, but it decided to put me on a nasty list and block me.

The new “About This Account” feature on Twitter also identifies if a VPN is being used.

Nothing is a coincidence.

I left for a while, but I went back for a few reasons. I have friends that are over there. Also, I refuse to just cede ground to maga and let them spout lies unchallenged.

After using that feature for a bit yesterday before they shut it down, I’d guess the percentage of MAGA accounts that are really foreign bots is much higher than 50%.

We found out that a large majority of the MAGA accounts were all foreign based but claiming to be in the United States.

So Twitter has this new “about this account” feature that will tell you where an account is really from, not just where they say they are from in their profile.

It turns out most of the MAGA over there are really foreign bots.
