The case of Amazing Race Canada season 11

It’s #AmazingRaceCanada time again, and @thedanheaton.bsky.social & I would love to take your questions about the Season 11 premiere for the pod! (Don’t worry: since we’re pretending to be Canadian ourselves, we won’t be checking IDs.) #RHAP

Adventure Express is a lot of fun! It reminds me a lot of Thunderation at Silver Dollar City, but with better theming. It also has the ridiculous fake-out ending, which was fun to do with my daughter this time. Thunderation has another drop at the end.

It could have just been our rides this time, but Blue was so much smoother than Red! I'd heard they re-tracked some of it, but I wonder if it was mostly on the Blue side. It was really cool to have both sides open, as it was just Red operating when I went last time.

We still haven't ridden Banshee (power outage this time) and Invertigo (I just can't do an inverted boomerang). Also hoped to do Great Pumpkin Coaster, but the line of parents and little kids was too long. We also missed Woodstock's Air Rail, but I've heard bad things. Getting there!

Ranking the Rollercoasters at Six Flags St. Louis - Tomorrow Society Dan Heaton ranks the nine rollercoasters at Six Flags St. Louis, including The Boss, American Thunder, Mr. Freeze, and the Screamin' Eagle.

We returned to Six Flags St. Louis last week, so I took the opportunity to update my coaster rankings for that park. The Boss is SO ROUGH, so I had to drop it down three spots. Hope the park survives, even with its challenges as it gets older. It needs help! tomorrowsociety.com/rollercoaste...

Yeah, the way Brad speaks is just so weird at times! But at least he's not like Sweeney, who constantly talks about "the little things", or basically "productive outs". John Rooney seems worse lately than I remember when he started. Too many catchphrases and a strange folksy accent. Not good.

I sometimes have to mute Chip and Brad (or Mark); I can only take so much. I feel like I've been transported back 15 years. Even the Apple+ announcers were much better on Friday.

People are so amazed that Domino's has never had stuffed crust pizza before!

Four months after my Universal Orlando trip, I finally ranked all eight coasters at the two original parks. The bottom and top picks were easy, but the middle was more challenging. I don't read a lot of romance novels, but I really enjoyed THRILL RIDE from Amy Ratcliffe. It's a book for theme park nerds with the massive "DreamUs" and the regional gem "Lands of Legend" having many real-life connections. Okay, now I'm jealous of those prices too!

That's awesome and I think it will be worth it. Honestly, $150 per person per day is basically the going rate even with multi-day passes at WDW or Universal lately (setting aside APs). I'm jealous!

Haven't talked theme parks lately, so a quick summary:
- Epic Universe looks awesome with theming on par with Diagon Alley but in five lands. Avoiding POVs but looks great.
- Cool to see WDW Buzz Lightyear update (finally)
- Happy for two new shows at DHS soon
- Resort Airline Check-in - Let's go!

I had the realization last night that she's become one of my favorites. Her edit early on was pretty typical of an early boot in the New Era with the six-person tribes, and now she's so down to earth and relatable. The way she connected with Eva (and stuck by her this week) was really cool to see.

YES! I was planning to get the free trial for the Cards and see how it was, but I'm hesitating because the commercial is just that bad.

If David wins $12 million, will there be a season 3 of #DONDI? This is insane.
