Going through my unedited pics last night - it turns out that I’ve made a LOT of stuff over the past 10 years or so (and these are just a sample of them, theres a lot of more recent stuff that’s not in this batch plus a lot more prior to this). I guess I’ve been a busy artist.

Just finished listening to this episode and I completely agree with the sentiment about the ideal being Stallone’s Judge Dredd budget, (and *mostly* design work - excluding the spandex Judge costumes), combined with the writing and tone of Urban’s Dredd.

So true and SO f*****g scary.

Last week, on Dungeons & Dragons…

Turns out the IMAX 4D X is not comparable with people with spine/neck damage - had to walk out of my 2nd viewing of Fantastic 4: 1st Steps after 1 minute. Damn 😕

I’ve had this costume for what must be approaching 14+ years by now, but I think it’s probably time to say goodbye to it and sell it on to someone who’s not in their 60’s now. Time for a new, simpler costume methinks.

I’m a massive Fantastic Four fan, & have been since I first read the UK reprints back in the 70’s.

So, after what’s felt like a 20+ year wait, I went to see the new FF film at the weekend.

Finally, a proper FF film that embraced the original source material that I loved so much as a kid.

Thank you, it’s probably been close to 40 years since I last attempted painting figures like this, it was quite a re-learning curve! Thankfully I have a couple of friends who have volunteered to paint a lot of figures, but I have to paint the ‘surprise’ beasties myself since they’re also players.

Finished painting the sand worms this weekend, and also painted another beastie for later in the campaign. #DnD

Some doodles I did for a couple of character ideas during lockdown, all those many years ago. I had the vague idea of doing these as proper full-colour illustrations but never really got round to doing anything with them in the end.

Spent a nice afternoon painting miniatures for my D&D campaign. Sort of getting there I think, but they definitely need more work.

Yeah, absolutely nothing to see here - get AI to rewrite the bits of world history you don’t like to align with your own world view?
