I think this was the point of the mail-in voting executive order. To lay down a BS predicate to throw out any election that uses any mail-in voting “because it violates the executive order”, throw it to the courts, seat a new congress in the meantime that just won’t allow them back in.

An opposition party should make hay out of this- all the things resources are being pulled from for this, and for all the authoritarian redeployments of law enforcement and national guard.
