This is why I genuinely appreciated that we had that moment where the hive told Carol that her work gave someone something to live for.

I'm with the in-laws this year, but yeah - thirty folks, give or take.

2 turkeys (at least), a pernil, a trough of rice and mashed potatoes, like five more dishes.

The heaters really doing some work, outside is honestly great even at 45 degrees!

I brought a suite of hot sauces and had to warn people, but probably not really, cuz most of these folks are from Peru and used to spicy business.

I'll say that the unexpected winner was the Johnny Hexburg OCD from South Africa, which is blazing hot with chocolate undertones!

It's that thing where folks tend to windmill some games (OoT especially) to #1, and it's like... y'all! It's an important game that has not aged perfectly! It's okay to acknowledge this!

So seeing AWAKENING at #1 brings me joy. It's only unhinged if you have no love of the human spirit's ✨️whimsy✨️

In 2009, I was asked to make a Christmas Punch for my family.
