...too much saxophone...
This is a listener error 😅
Successfully helped debug an SVG file issue with cohorts in Oklahoma and North Carolina, and folks I think I've just singlehandedly mended our international diplomacy issues.
02.03.2026 17:46 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's wild how much quickly the starches convert to simple sugars depending on how you cook them. Even sweet potato - which is generally considered safer for diabetics - spikes wildly when you oven roast them. You can also taste it - feels almost caramelized.
02.03.2026 16:56 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Absolutely! Cooked potatoes, next day, served chilled in a potato salad for example.
02.03.2026 16:14 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 1 📌 0Where?!

A baked potato has a high glycemic index (GI), typically ranging from 85 to 111.
Table sugar (sucrose) has a glycemic index (GI) of approximately 65.
Ergo, I'm better off eating table sugar - potatoes in baked, mashed, or roasted form are no bueno. Quit trying to kill me!
My Type-2 would have a field day.

01.03.2026 08:02 — 👍 4 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Exactly! I find with every new development, the only thing that does not change is the existing road network. We are supposed to encourage densification, multifamily - with minimal setbacks - but we do no dare curtail the streetscape to make it more liveable. Oak absolutely should have bike lanes.
01.03.2026 07:48 — 👍 1 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0It's going to turn into something. Meanwhile the space is still nice.

01.03.2026 02:59 — 👍 0 🔁 0 💬 0 📌 0Those low-rise developments on Oak St. would be awesome if Oak wasn't still a 6-lane car sewer. At least the setbacks are minimal so you can be right next to the action.
28.02.2026 23:43 — 👍 16 🔁 0 💬 4 📌 0Yes I like motorcycling, but why does the marketing around everything motorcycles have to be so agro? I'm looking for a dry bag - why does it need to say WARRIOR on it? If I was a true warrior I would not care if my stuff got wet.
