30 animals lined along Trip’s deck for the group photo as the light was starting to disappear. There is a unicorn hidden in the back as well!

The amazing rum cake from The Buttery bakery in Santa Cruz. The cake reads “Happy 50th birthday Trip E Collie”. It also features a graphic from Lady Rain where Trip is old, holding a cane, in slippers with wrinkled forehead and small spectacles. He has his fist in the air yelling at an internet cloud graphic. There is a newspaper in the background which reads “Old dog yells @ cloud”. The graphic is a parody of the famous grandpa Simpson scene which is also a meme.

The cake graphic which is also a physical sticker plus telegram sticker. It is a Simpsons meme parody and fits well with Trip officially as an old dog yelling at the internet (cloud).

Yesterday our little cabin overflowed with animals. We celebrated my 50th birthday a couple weeks early since I will be in Japan on the actual day.

After the birthday celebration most of the group joined me to watch Zootopia 2. Absolutely lovely times. We had to have a small group photo afterwards as well :)

I think I’m mainly due to our names being similar….

I cannot confirm or deny if this did happen in our room.

For BFC @nebulanursery.bsky.social was so, so awesome and came through with an over the top amazing door sign for us! It was SO fun watching people stop and point and chat about our sign in the hall as we were coming and going xD! Everyone loved it!
