BASW is giving public evidence to the UK Covid Inquiry on Monday - focusing on the impact of the pandemic on children & young people, with BASW having already submitted evidence on adult social care. We are the only SW org involved in the inquiry.

Next Senedd term to rule assisted dying
A decision to provide assisted dying services in the Welsh NHS would not come until after the next Senedd election in May 2026, the Welsh Government Health Secretary Jeremy Miles MS has said this week.
