After finishing Keyhoe's 1950 classic The Flying Saucers Are Real, struck by similarity to present day re. credible UAP sightings: cover-ups and quick dismissals - weather balloons, Venus, secret military tech, etc.

70 years later we've made some progress towards disclosure but nowhere near enough.
