I’m thinking of getting some new cats in that maybe didn’t share these prejudices.

None! The six-year-old has only ever been grouchy from rain, and the other two are mad at having been nauseated by the sun in their first year, but no negative thoughts in any way related to modesty or lack of clothing. It’s pretty cool.

One thing that’s really thrown me is that none of my dwarves have been adopted by cats.

In other news, we're mostly eating pork and asparagus, and the engraver is in a massive push to upskill. He's worried people are going to start thinking he's a planter.

He's been named "Limul Oiledcolor," after a secondary God of the fortress. His middle brother, "Alron" is named for the primary. His eldest brother, "The Unclothed," is named for the very core beliefs on which this fortress was founded.

Shoutout to mist generators

The nudist Dwarf Fortress of Bronzeshort has welcomed its third, baby, yet another boy. He took his first breaths in the training barracks, where his mother was leading a dodging demonstration. His first thought was the relief of being near a waterfall as she carried him to the tavern.

The least happy of the dwarves is, as you might expect, the one who had the most severe reaction to losing his clothing, which in turn led to crippling shyness. He stays at the low end of a green mood, dipping to yellow or orange occasionally when he suddenly remembers that he is naked.

The two children, who are 4 and 2 years old, have yet to have any negative thoughts regarding their lack of clothing, making me think, at least functionally, nudity-based shame may be a learned behaviour in Dwarf Fortress.

In other news, one of the miners cut a forgotten beast in half with a pick axe.

I don’t want to drop assassination coordinates, but Cyndi Lauper has more banter than any other artist I’ve seen in my entire life. Not a criticism btw. She just recommended bananas for their potassium.

His recent thoughts are almost all pleasant. He loves the mist generator, being drunk, playing with toys, performing, and watching performances. He has yet to have any reaction, positive or negative, to his nudity. Strangely, he appears to get no enjoyment from talking to other dwarves.

Happy 1st birthday to “The unclothed,” the only child in my nudist Dwarf Fortress. His beard has officially come in and he is looking handsome. He spends most of his time playing with toys beneath the mist generator in the tavern.

Autocorrect not changing “o” to “I” is such a slap in the face.

Unable to stand OR grasp is a killer combo when you’re trying to wrangle a baby!
