The violent SRG unit of the NYPD was deployed today to protect ICE. This NYPD SRG cop is pepper spraying protestors and bystanders. This is outrageous.

NYC showed up today to prevent ICE from harming our neighbors. NYPD was there to support ICE and used violence against peaceful protestors and bystanders. We foiled the large ICE raids they were planning for today.

That’s me yelling at the Asian ICE thug and I am an Asian American immigrant.

I have marshaled at every major NYC protest march this year and today’s #NOKings march was much bigger than other march. We stretched from 50th Street to 14th street on 7th Ave. Video repost from @riseandresist.bsky.social who also did a phenomenal job organizing the marshals.

I have volunteered and donated to prevent gun violence in America even for people like Charlie Kirk for the last 10 years. Charlie Kirk spent the last 10 years promoting gun culture and lax gun laws to harm people especially people like me (brown immigrant) and Black people.

I guess it’s only appropriate that on 9/11, which is itself associated with so many conspiracy theories, that so many Americans are spending their time on conspiracy theories. It’s also sad because now it’s not just the fringe and the conspiracy theories started before his death was even announced

As a physician i am despondent over what is happening to our public health system and it’s particularly dark right now. Physicians are in an untenable situation where our Hippocratic oath to do no harm may conflict with government guidelines and regulations.

In 6 months FOTUS has accomplished what it took Putin and others authoritarians years and even decades to put in place. This doesn’t say as much about FOTUS and his team as it does about how complacent and stupid Americans are.

What you can do:
1. Contact your NYC Council Member to pass the NYC Trust Act

2. Contact your NY State Senator & Assembly Member & Gov Hochul & demand a special legislative session to pass the NY4All Bill.

And since DHS has proven to be too deliberately cruel, dishonest and incompetent, this access needs to be for physicians and other licensed healthcare professionals who are independent of DHS.
