Appearing on the 'YOUR STORY' show, Nandan Nilekani, founder of Infosys revealed that he invested substantial amount of money in a new automated trading platform. The idea was simple: allow the average person the opportunity to cash in on the digital currency boom. Even if they have absolutely no investing or technology experience.
A user would simply make an initial deposit into the platform, usually of ₹18595 or more, and the automated trading algorithm would go to work. Using a combination of data and machine learning, the algorithm would know the perfect time to buy and sell digital assets, maximizing the user's profit. Nandan told us that he used his credit card for the initial deposit!

An employee, requesting anonymity, said management is warning of leave without pay if employees don't report to office three days a week
Software services firm HCLTech has asked employees to report to office thrice a week, failing which they will have to face disciplinary action, starting February 19. The missive from India’s third-largest IT company follows peers such as TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, who have mandated employees to work from office five days a week, 10 days a month, and three days a week, respectively.
“All DFS (Digital Foundation Services) employees, irrespective of their band (E0 and above), will be required to work from their designated HCLTech offices for a minimum of three days a week,” HCLTech’s Vikas Sharma, global head – people function DFS, was quoted as saying in an email dated February 14.An HCLTech spokesperson said the company follows a hybrid work model, wherein, employees are required to work from office three days in a week

French A-400M ‘Tests Mettle’ With Indian Navy As It Competes With US C-130J & Brazilian C-390 For IAF Deal
With the American C-130J and Brazilian C-390 Millennium putting more skin in winning the Indian Air Force (IAF) tender for medium transport aircraft, the Airbus A-400M belonging to the French Navy is in India for a naval exercise.
The two navies have been exercising with each other with increasing frequency. The Indian Navy’s long-range maritime patrol aircraft P-8I conducted a joint exercise over the Bay of Bengal with its French counterpart. The exercises aimed to “enhance synergy and interoperability” also saw the presence of French transport aircraft A-400M.
The naval exercise comes close to the two countries agreeing to “intensify cooperation in the Southwest Indian Ocean,” building on the joint surveillance missions carried out from the French island territory of La Reunion in 2020 and 2022. Flat out, Rezvani claims the Beast will reach 60 mph in 2.5 seconds and finish a quarter-mile in 9.6 seconds. Joining the ever-growing list of tech companies that are laying off employees is Cisco. At the quarterly earnings call, the US-based tech company revealed that it will lay off thousands of employees. “On February 14, 2024, Cisco announced a restructuring plan in order to realign the organisation and enable further investment in key priority areas. This restructuring plan will impact approximately 5 percent of Cisco's global workforce,” the company said in a statement.It is expected that close to 4,200 employees will lose their jobs as part of the restructuring exercise. The company hasn’t given any timeline on when the layoffs will take place but it is expected to happen in the current quarter.
