Thank you!! So many people have ongoing symptoms from it. I'm hoping someday my particular issues will decide to take a hike even if they haven't yet! I hope we can get back to funding healthcare research in the US after this dark period so everyone who's sick from it can start getting solutions.

I’m getting a couple dental crowns Tuesday, I have a stye, I’m having a POTS flare up, I’m going to physical therapy, I still have other long COVID symptoms from last July, and I’m doing a lot better than a lot of Americans because for now I can afford my healthcare.

I’ve thrown around the term “Vichy Dems” in the past year.

I want to say I don’t/can’t possibly mean all Democrats but it seems like there’s a greater chance of non-collaborationists in the House. Senate races seem pretty tightly controlled.

The Dems who haven't volunteered to be the fall people can trash it as loudly as they want if it still goes through. The ones who mean it will be indistinguishable from the ones for whom it is pure theater.

We'll confirm if they're spineless or if they're collaborationist soon.

Sounds like a plausible interpretation of the story she left with and would mean her first instinct was to let her boys play with his peers and then her brain broke when she realized she had tried to help him socialize with a mixed gender group. (Plausible.)

She’s so incoherent it’s hard to say.

Something I’ve noticed is there seems to be a sort of pervasive assumption that the status quo has gravity. That there’s a natural, comfortable way things should be and that deviations from the normal state of the world will correct themselves in time.

But as a paleontologist, I know this is false.

I feel like people are always kool-aid man busting down the door trying to tell people how to self ID online.

Online is such a crowded, open space that some jerk is always ready to speak up "You're identifying yourself wrong!" (I just say "queer" now.)

Yeah, I feel like the people who are doing this and that malicious thing for power are a separate category from just the tweet I was replying to, which sounded dismissive of men who have sex with other men and don't consider themselves gay.

I just pray we don’t get Democrat’d where people are elected because we want them to do things and then they don’t. Still living Alabama Doug Jones trauma where we got out the vote… and he voted by majority with Republicans, and the electorate has never recovered from the betrayal.

This is more or less what I did. Summons on the entry stairs, single dialog initiator, lot of AOE, ice spells are key. It’s possible to stealth around the outside to take out some of the casters on the back end, too, if you have Astarion or Jahiera or somebody.
