Super excited to share this story I completed in @elizgrice.bsky.social towards the end of my postdoc! Here we colonized germ-free mice with 50 unique bacterial species that represent the skin microbiome. Also my first paper as assistant professor @WashU!

Reposting our preprint presented at #KLEBS2024 where we sailed the seven seas of the #Klebsiella pneumoniae species complex π΄β οΈand charted an atlas of our travels. We present a population metabolism study of 7835 genomes + metabolic models, in vitro validation and co-cultures.
