Last night I had the chance to meet with members of @weareliuna.bsky.social Local 292. Hearing directly from you on the challenges facing our workforce, especially our unions, is incredibly impactful. I will take our conversation back to Congress and continue to fight for workers and their families.

House Republicans are as responsible for the damage and price hikes caused by tariffs as much as Trump is. We’re going to make sure the American people remember this in November.

The harmful impacts of Republicans breaking their promise to lower costs continue to impact everyday Americans - below is a great deep dive by the WSJ looking into how House Republicans are making life more expensive for hardworking families.

No matter how much Republicans try to spin their economic record, it's not true. If they just listened to folks on the ground, they'd hear the stories of far too many hardworking Americans struggling under reckless GOP policies. It’s time for a change.

The American people saw what can happen when House Democrats retake the majority: we deliver policies that improve the lives of everyday Americans.

The quote highlighted in this story is a terrible summation of the health care crisis Republicans have created - and refuse to address: “I don’t even know how to get my mind around it. It’s the opposite of affordable.”

Saddened to learn of the passing of Dan Murphy, one of the most dedicated labor champions I’ve had the privilege of knowing. Snohomish County won’t be the same without his smile and passion for service. Rest in peace Dan.

This is an unconscionable failure by House Republicans. Millions of Americans face looming health care price spikes - but Republicans can’t be bothered to do anything about it before the deadline.

Another awful proofpoint that House Republicans have failed the American people and cannot be trusted to deliver any genuine relief to working families.
