This one isn’t a surprise. Skitty had health issues for a while. After things deteriorated this weekend, we’d planned have her put to sleep tomorrow, but she beat us to it.

The fact that I love all three of them means the final evos are probably going to ruin them all.

It’s not like they really care. Most of these changes already exist in later projects.

Give #18 her platinum hair, Kurilin his eye whites, Piccolo his yellow patches, Trunks and Blooma their blue hair, Goku his more yellow-orange dogi, hopefully the SSGSS colors from Broli rather than the ugly cyan, etc.

And while I hope more of Toyo’s manga elements make the cut as the show continues into later arcs, I feel like they should’ve committed to some of the later color changes now while they’re already making tweaks to be “closer to Toriyama’s view of the world” or whatever their promo jargon was.

Wouldn’t need them to fully redo the line work for the old shots they keep. They might as well reanimate the whole thing from scratch then. But it would’ve been nice if the compositing, colors, and processing were closer to Daima. As even the worst of that show still looks really nice in comparison.

I’m not total sold on Super Kai just yet. I understand why it’s necessary. I would never suggest someone sit down and watch the original version of the anime. But this still feels like a waste to me. The enhancements do look far better than the original, but they don’t quite go far enough IMO.

This was an absolutely shocking reveal. I’ve ranted multiple times about how whoever designed Kafla didn’t understand Toriyama’s logic for potara outfits that was used for Vegetto & Zamasu.

Turns out it was just Toriyama not giving a shit about what he’d established prior. As usual, I guess.

I’ve successfully wasted my time reassuring myself that I’m familiar with all* Pokemon as we enter Gen 10 & the 30th Anniversary.

*Got 1023/1025 correct on my own, which I feel counts as 100% considering my age. Only looked up Floragato & Quaxwell for Paldea because I was never gonna remember them.

JSAT also had Goku call his dogi formal wear, but the Grand Priest disagreed with that notion in Super. He did assume it was probably the nicest outfit Goku owns though. (Incorrectly if you acknowledge filler or the films.)

After the JSAT called Vegeta’s armor “Saiyan formal wear”, I can’t escape the image that this is the equivalent of him and all the other Saiyans showing up to their battles and invasions in a suit and tie.

All I've learned from Kakarot's localization is that Z!Gine apparently got around, and Bardock requested what the Saiyans view as a paternity test.

Really enjoying the new Samurai Troopers series so far. (And that the wife is watching with me.)

Definitely excited to get the 30MF model kits of the boys now. I also really hope that if their kits are popular enough, that maybe they’ll do a set for the retro Troopers too. I’d love to have both.

I am glad you’re enjoying it. We don’t exactly consume a tone of content together.

Maybe later you we can watch the original. It’s fairly short. Like 40 episodes and a couple of OVAs.

But I won’t force it. They’re two very different shows.

The announcement of Sandrock’s Armadillo Lizard equipment yesterday was one of the best Christmas gifts I could’ve asked for. I’ve been a little worried for a while that Bandai would only cover the initial batch of upgrades that they released, and I’d have to eventually custom build the rest.

Despite his heart of gold intentions, Micheal was an ignorant douche. The dumpster fire that were his employees and their actions were fine in balance with that. This time around, I can’t help but cringe on Ned’s behalf at almost anything that happens to set him back.

Tried to watch The Paper finally. I just can’t do it.

Unlike The Office, the main character is transferring into the job with naive hopes of making the paper a great publication. The dude just wants to accomplish his dream, and he’s surrounded by employees that feel like real world dumpster fires.

I just need Capcom to give me something DMC besides the ignorant hack’s anime adaptation.

Always happy to see more Ogasawara work, but this is not remotely what I wanted. lol

Amazing that their best new content ideas for Wing’s anniversary are a seven chapter series set between Endless Waltz & Frozen Teardrop (where MS aren’t supposed to exist), and a SRW Code Geass crossover…

Last week I had the first of a few appointments to try and reduce the recent pains I’ve been having. There was immediate relief after, but now the soreness and swelling have caught up to me. Pain is worse than before I went in. Some of the worst I’ve ever experienced, TBH.
