Great to be out maintaining our Osprey platforms and cameras around the harbour this AM in perfect conditions. Fingers crossed for plenty of sightings and who knows, maybe some of our youngsters from previous years taking an interestβ¦

From toxic βno-goβ zone to one of the best areas to witness one of Poole Harbours main SPA features (winter bird assemblages). Winter low-tides can be spectacular. Weβve been out prepping and servicing various Osprey nests around the harbour (more on that later) but massive thanks to the RSPB Arne team who allowed us to install a camera on a favoured perch for migrant Ospreys so we can read ring numbers. Raven said hello today! @rspbengland.bsky.social

This 1st winter (?) Little Gull turned up at Lytchett Fields RSPB just as the sun briefly came out. It stuck around for over an hour and was joined for 10 mins or so by this adult (?)
