It's not super clear but i got a picture of a "Lacewing Larva" AKA "Trash Bug" today. Didn't even know these things existed. They camouflage themselves by collecting debris on its back and are predators to soft shell bugs like aphids and caterpillars.

The superb lyrebird is a large, pheasant-sized bird about 1 metre (39 inches) in length. The plumage colour is mainly dark brown on the upper body, with greyish-brown underparts and red-tinged flight feathers. In this photo he is fanning out his tail horizontally to cover his body and head, and calling out.

Something Hidden

We were #birding quietly through the Fields Oasis, Harney County, and ducked under a low limb across the established pathway and were surprised to look back and see 4 Great-horned Owlets inches from where we had passed. I worried the parents would strafe us so we cautiously moved away... (1/?)
