This is my favorite picture of Stonewall.

Okay, so "film reroll" isn't a TTRPG per se, but I've taken part in a handful of them this year and have loved all of them lol.

TTRPGs are a huge part of who I am, and that's thanks to the wonderful friends who participate in them with me. Below are four TTRPGs that began this year, but there are others which are more long running which deserve a shoutout too!

Music is a tricky one. I tend to fall back on older albums, often being a decade or so behind the trends lol, but here are four albums that came out this year that have really stood out to me.

Sidenote: I haven't quite finished On Earth We're Briefly Gorgeous, but I'm so obsessed with it already that it has to count!

Onto books - I discovered the joy of audiobooks this year, perhaps a little later than I would've liked, but in doing so I've found a new love for non-fiction, as well as finding my new favourite book of all time in The Picture of Dorian Gray! Here are my top 4 books for this year.

Starting with movies! I watched my way through a number of series, like X-Men and the Sonic movies, and discovered some new all-time favourites. I admittedly watched very few movies made this year, these are my top 4 that I watched this year, not necessarily made in 2024!

I'm also so grateful to have so many wonderful people who have been so supportive and lovely this year. You folks know who you are - thanks for everything, and lots of love ❤️

I've learned a lot this year, both about myself and others. Despite everything, or I suppose because of everything, I've come out the other side more resilient and more wise.

currently about 75ish pages into My Brilliant Friend and loving it so far! :))

A goal of mine for 2025 is to spend less time around men who clearly don't care for women.

All pleasures are guilty pleasures if you have high enough anxiety

This is... actually a fairly reasonable takeaway from this year.

I don't know who needs to hear this, but you don't need to justify your reading preferences and choices to anyone. Audiobooks count as reading. Also, you don't have to finish books you don't enjoy. Don't read to impress, read for yourself. Life's too short, love yourself, ok?
