Democratic voters are damned tired of Democratic politicians not recognizing they are in a fight. Status quo was burned to the ground and the earth salted. Their "friend across the aisle" is actively beating the crap out of you. Read the room, fight for your principles and your constituents.

I think one huge mistake is leadership believing people want to go back to the status quo. The reason a lot of people changed their votes in 22 and 24 was because the status quo is crushing everyone who isn't uber rich, so saying you want to return to that is not a winning message

It will likely help them in the midterms and 28, but then, because they've given the voters nothing solid, people will stay at home or swap to republican because "they're not doing anything for me"

I think one huge mistake dem leadership is making (and it's 100% the result of short term profit thinking) is they're trying to coast on "Orange man bad", instead of giving people a reason to vote FOR them.

The training is why they’re shooting people in the face.
