In the process of all of this, I keep in contact with the victim to do safety planning, safe houses, and other resources. While enrolling in treatment, the client must sign an ROI with the victim's name, allowing me to make contact.

If there is continued noncompliance, the MTT will decide to do an attendance contract or unsuccessfully discharge. If the client is unsuccessfully discharged, then the probation officer will file a complaint with the courts, and the client will also have to start treatment over again.

The multi treatment team (MTT) has a meeting about the client's noncompliance and lack of progress in treatment, which is a minimum of 9-12 months. Lack of attendance and progress in treatment raises victim and community safety concerns, so I talk to the victim and make sure they're safe.

I am a domestic violence treatment victim advocate in Colorado. I work at a BH treatment agency where convicted abusers are court ordered to enroll in Domestic Violence Treatment even with a plea. I don't have interaction with the DV clients. I contact the victims often through the treatment process

My Guillain Barre/ Chronic Inflammatory Demyelating Polyneuropathy (GBD/CIDP) Journey started February 10, 2023. So far, I've had 4 IVIG infusions. Next week, another lumbar puncture and 3 brain/spine MRIs. I'm fighting like hell.
