Stonekettle Station/Jim Wright reply: It never once occurs to these public servants, who swear an oath to support and defend the Constitution, to say: Our state's law enforcement stands ready to protect and assist the public when Americans turn out to exercise their right to peacefully assemble. It's always a threat of violence against American citizens. Always, first thing, every time, they threaten the public with what the police won't "tolerate." Meanwhile Americans are expected to tolerate whatever warrantless violence the authorities visit upon them without protest or pushback. The truly ironic part here is that those swaggering libertarians flying that Don't Tread on Me flag, who've built their entire identity against standing up to tyranny, are all meekly silent today. They brought their guns to the capitol when it was masks and vaccinations, but when it's an actual boot on their throat and a real threat of armed governmental opposition, then it's nothing but bluster and bombast and meek subservience. They're cardboard soldiers and nothing more.

Does anyone see the irony that it’s the liberal Democrats of our country who are ready, willing, & able to fight tyranny, uphold the constitution, & show strength against those who would oppress us?
