It really doesn't allow the actual story they have to stand on its own two legs by coming out of the gate and having the first and only bit of info given be about the fact they're taking inspiration from Star Wars. I understand its for marketing but it's just... yikes.

The Renegades thing has the potential to go very well or very poorly. I'm not averse to them paying homage to Star Wars, esp. as at their thematic cores the two have some overlap. However, leading the reveal with "We did a Star Wars" is VERY poor form and doesn't inspire confidence at ALL imo.
