I learned that painkillers dont actually remove the pain your body feels, but it makes it so you dont feel it?

Trying to learn basic Japanese made me realise how much Ive taken for granted that I know English as my second language. It just happened over time because of the country I live in and not everyone is as lucky. But learning a language that is not part of my daily life is a lot more effort and hard~!
