The EHRI-UK National Research Fellowship Programme is designed to support and stimulate Holocaust research conducted by researchers, archivists, librarians, curators, and early career scholars, especially PhD candidates with limited resources, based at institutions in the United Kingdom and British Isles. EHRI-UK Research Fellowships cover a stipend for travel, accommodation and subsistence for access lasting between 1 and 4 weeks at one of the following host institutions:

The Lord Mayor of Leicester, Cllr Teresa Aldred, will join other local dignitaries at De Montfort University for an evening of reflection and commemoration to mark Holocaust Memorial Day.
Students from Beauchamp College will talk about their experiences of visiting Auschwitz, while there will also be music from Caroline Salinger and an address on this yearโs theme, โBridging Generationsโ, by Professor Aubrey Newman, former director of the Stanley Burton Centre for Holocaust and Genocide Studies.
The winning entries in a schoolsโ essay-writing competition โ the Paul Winstone Memorial Competition ยญ- will also be read out.
As the UKโs oldest Holocaust research centre at a British university, the @uolsbc.bsky.social is proud to mark Holocaust Memorial Day with our partners, Leicester City Council. The event will be held at De Montfort University on Tuesday 27 January from 7pm.
