Born 105 years ago OTD - 𝗗𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗦𝗵𝗲𝗽𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗱 rode for the Angels in 41 meetings in the 48 season, he was nearly unbeatable at Hedon.

In 49 he was transferred to Walthamstow for a £150 fee but suffered head injuries and missed most of the season.
