I am enjoying my fake night sky. There are a bunch of different slides to insert, and they spin around slowly on the roof (or wherever you point them). It's a weird mix of old and new tech.

That's a good point of view to have, but yes... I imagine it was a lot at the time. Did it come with any particularly you-style injuries like a stormcast liberator embossed into your forehead?

New COVID-19 strain 'pretty much everywhere' in Australia The World Health Organization designated the new NB.1.8.1 strain as a "variant under monitoring" and it's now the dominant variant in China and Hong Kong.

Just got my covid vax. Had the flu vax a couple of months ago. Don't forget it's flu season and there's a new covid variant around. Friends who've had it say it's brutal. Have friends with long covid too whoch is awful. Stay safe!

It was a lovely dream but hard to wake up from. Every day is hard. 311 days since I saw her. The anxiety & limbo doesn't get easier, it's worse. I know everyone is tired of hearing it, people & the world have a lot going on, so I've been trying not to post, but I just feel more detached & isolated.

The other night I had a dream under that moon: I came home to a new place I had moved into with a little walled yard. Krosh was there waiting for me. She was just somehow there when I came back, running up to me. I gathered her in my arms and she held my face with her paws, licking my nose and chin.

The last few nights the waxing moon has been a yellow cat's eye in the sky. The yellow colour and the whispy fur of the clouds doesn't come through in the photos but it feels so much like Kroshka's eye, watching me.

This has been the worst year for me in a series of bad years. Not as dramatic as others, but every day has been hard. The cumulative pain, trauma, doom, whatever you want to call it, has been too much. I'm not sure where the limit of my tolerance, patience, restraint, coping... is, but it's close.

Increasingly surrounded by plushies like it's the 80s. This one is good for squishing to my chest when the pressure is too much like he can chew his way in there. Alas, he cannot. I am stuck in the tar of care for Dad, doomscrolling, restraining myself from things I can't resolve, achieving nothing.

I'll try again later but I have tried all the ways I can think of. This keeps happening. It seems without reason: things that work one time will not work next time. It never works first go. I give up on posting things so often. I feel like it's the phone because other image problems on fb and insta.

The last case manager quit in early May without notice, the one before that retired in late March, the one before that didn't book anything and went on extended holidays... and so forth for the last couple of years 🤷‍♀️

Thank you. ❤️ I have some nice big heat packs which do help a bit. Unfortunately there's nobody who can take over the Dad stuff now but hopefully it will be more manageable when his new case manager comes in at the end of this month. Though that has been an unreliable carousel since all this started.

The last two days have been waking up to phone calls from Dad. He goes through ups and downs of more or less confusion or anger. Less confusion = more anger. I can't tell him I'm in bed with back pain, and I have to make all the follow-up calls and emails for dental, housing, doctors... regardless.
