I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday and released it to you today in response to the state terror being visited on the city of Minneapolis. It’s dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, our innocent immigrant neighbors and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good.

I love Bruce Springsteen.

Tracks 2 was an interesting artifact, Nebraska 82 is just an absolute delight.

Losing Kind obviously shares a lot of DNA with Highway Patolman, but it also shares a lot with Highway 29, which in my mind is one of Springsteen’s most underrated songs.

On a bad day, I was present for a little miracle of joy.

On a holiday road trip we entertained ourselves by selecting the “best” song for every state. I didn’t want to be too tiresome, so I only suggested Springsteen on those states we were having trouble with - Utah, Nebraska, South Dakota, etc. I did not even nominate him for the bigger … 1/3

Italian dinner and a toast with the TeachRock crew and Stevie Van Zandt at Morandi in The West Village. It was great hearing about all of the exciting things Mr. Van Vandt, the Teach Rock’s founder is doing by helping kids learn through musical education.

I have always loved public libraries, but having young children has exponentially increased my gratitude and sense of indebtedness to them. Our local library is such a huge part of our lives. The books, the programming, the very intentionally curated kids’ section. It’s all such a gift.

Springsteen is a great song writer and a good performer but some folks don't understand how amazing the E. Street Band is until they are seen live. It's not just a concert, it's an experience.
