At this point I'm legitimately surprised whenever there's rumors of a game actually being developed by a team at Xbox

I'm very excited to get the Generations Pack for Switch 2, will also be my first experience with VII and Village.

They spent less than 30 minutes on this, so they have over 50 minutes just for Pokopia

Interesting they're doing a Treehouse for games that already have hands-on previews from the press, I wonder what else they have to show.

Ah, I'm going insane lol. I remembered something like this, but it turns out it was just the "final new tracks". I remember a lot of discourse at the time about the game supposedly being dead after this and then there was a huge surprise update later on.

I mean, they wanted to kill the game like a year after launch, right? Seems like it's just NST's passion project now and higher-ups at Nintendo really don't care. It's really sad though, the devs clearly love this game and series, they deserve more recognition.

Spent some more time in Mario Tennis Fever tonight. Managed to claw my way out of C+ and into B-, but I'm clearly where I belong overall. Did not win consistently at all

Review of Tomb Raider 1 Remastered, with a score of 7.5/10, reading: "Honestly it was a pretty solid game, much better than I had expected. It's an action adventure game, and a pretty old one at that, so it's rudimentary in a few ways, but there's a pretty good base here. Levels are large and fairly intricate, the modern control scheme works well for the most part, fighting enemies works well and some of them can be challenging but you can find ways to exploit most of their weaknesses so it's never really unfair. Plus, for a 90s game, there's a fairly generous save feature, so if you lose, you don't have to go too far back, as long as you remember to save manually since there's no autosave. The controls could still be a bit better and it's not mind-blowing or anything, but it's a good time overall!"

Review of Tomb Raider 2 Remastered, with a score of 6/10, reading: "A perfect example of a game overstaying its welcome. Tomb Raider 2 builds on the original and adds a lot of small twists and features: new guns, wall climbing, and a lot of new locales. However, the game goes on for insanely long and gets repetitive, tiring, and frustrating with frequent deaths and no autosaves, making you redo things over and over again. The new emphasis on shooting and combat and some of the obnoxious new enemy types also make the game a lot more frustrating. Maybe for the time of its original release, this was good, but today, it was incredibly draining. The end game screen says it took me over 30 hours, and that doesn't account for retries. It's just far too long. "

Review of Tomb Raider 3 Remastered, with a score of 6.5 out of 10 reading: "Tomb Raider 3 suffers from a similar problem to Tomb Raider 2 in that it overstays its welcome a bit, but I do consider this one to be an improvement in some ways. In general, exploring the levels is bit more enjoyable, and the reduced focus on combat is appreciated because it's still quite annoying to do when it does appear. On the flip side, Tomb Raider 3 focuses more on exploration and puzzles, and it can be a lot more vague and just not tell you anything about what you're expected to do. I had to look up a guide on multiple occasions, which made the game frustrating simply because it made me feel stupid and directionless. Most of the boss fights are equally cryptic and it's hard to know what the goal is until after you've died a bunch of times. Not terrible, not great, but my hot take is that I like it more than the second one."

Finally, I've finished the entire Tomb Raider I-III Remastered Trilogy and the respective expansions. I owe a huge thanks to @stellalune.bsky.social of tombraiders.net, I literally would not have been able to finish these games without her detailed guides.
