I think this has been the month of either myself, or others dropping mild gender related info on people.

I’m still chuckling from my boss being copied into a message that described me as ‘basically a girl’. I’m not sure how he quite reboots his face … 😂

It’s ok - it was a while ago. She’s buried in the garden. She had a good life while she was alive. Plus; I think as she was a very quiet cat… snoopy came in like an insane thing and kinda blew her tiny mind.

Fair!

I’d love to have a Maine coon but the wife would 100% divorce me 😬

Meadow our fist cat died not long after we arrived, hit by a car (fast narrow country lane) so I get it.

But - if he needs another cat, he *could* adopt one from a shelter 😝

It’s not your cat is it? So - you don’t have to let it in.

I’m sure snoops gets shood off loads. The neighbours kicked him out once (after letting him in and feeding him before!)

Optimal sunscreen use, during a sun holiday with a very high ultraviolet index, allows vitamin D synthesis without sunburn Linked Editorial: Wolf. Br J Dermatol 2019; 181:881–882. Plain language summary available online Respond to this article

The ‘minimal erythema dose’ is like 25% of the skin exposed for about 20 mins depending on season. Any more than factor 15 may reduce absorption of UVB. onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1111/...

I’ve lived in a rural community my entire life. There is no basis for hunting in modern life. The only explanation for it is to justify people’s enjoyment of the barbaric killing of animals. Any other ‘explanation’ or ‘justification’ is a lie.

No worries. I did my BSc diss in vitamin D analysis … 😬

Mostly get enough sun. Take supplements in winter months. If you have kidney, liver or bowel disorder .. take supplements because you can’t ’overdose’ really

Vit D is pretty good for the immune system too. D3 is good, it’s the active molecule

More than someone without coeliac, but not ‘more’?. Stones are usually calcium oxalate…

“Calcium in your diet helps lower how much oxalate gets absorbed from the healthy foods you eat. Calcium is also important for bone health.”

I’m not a doctor tho!

Everyone above an axial tilt of 45 degrees should take Vit D. For us it’s roughly October to March as you’re not getting any UVB to make it in the epidermis during that period.

Vitamin D absorption (and calcium absorption) in patients with any form of gastrointestinal disorder is much reduced.

Dexa is looking at bone density. Vit D is required for bone health, as is calcium. So… it’s not sex specific. But women have higher occurrence of bone density loss…

The Physician’s Guide for Distinguishing Bipolar Disorder and ADHD Approximately 20 percent of people with ADHD also suffer from bipolar disorder, a serious mental illness characterized by depressive and manic episodes. Since both conditions share symptoms, but ADHD ...

As with all neurospicyness, sometimes treatment can make the symptoms of a combined presentation worse…

Also - the exhaustion is probably because you have a longtime condition; not just because of adhd. You’re running out of spoons…

Thing with meds is - what do you want from them? What’s the issue they’re trying to solve?

ADHD meds are very different person to person. For some, they just straight up don’t work. Others, it’s life changing.

I’ve changed my name in my description… that’s something right

I just don’t like the ideas of talking to docs about it. Like. I dunno. There’s a part of me that worries about having to justify it.

I know - it’s probably dumb.

I’m on the wait for neurodivergence so. He could save me some time.

Let’s hope he doesn’t ask me too many probing identity stuff huh. 😂

I’m sure every family has their moments. My cousin has just spent an hour and a half messaging on FB basically blaming everyone for her problems and saying she ‘hates them’.

It’s like, I don’t wanna join the list. But I’m also reading a lot of ‘wah people don’t say the stuff I wanna hear’

Ah - I do like spending time with a good gastro. 😂

I get to see a clinical psychologist soon. Wondering how many fun new things I’ll get with that visit 😂

Hope whatever it is has been fixed or is going to be fixed 😬
