The first thing Rahaf's mom thanked me for was helping with her mental health. She was so sad to lose her legs & see other kids play and run & jump around. The joy & playfulness that exudes from Rahaf & delights everyone who meets her is not recognizable in these photos. She was robbed of it. Unlike the kids who are in Gaza now, Rahaf has healthy food, clean water, a safe home, prosthetics, therapies & medical care. She is thriving. How easy is it to see what grown ups need to give children to help them learn, grow & become happy, healthy adults?! Rahaf shows it. The research says it, we know it in our hearts and souls yet we kill, starve & traumatize children. Only want to help for your own benefit? The research also says that it benefits society as a whole respect children's human rights.

Leaders - be so ashamed of your silence. Be so ashamed that you speak up for kids everywhere but in Gaza. Be so ashamed that you don't see kids like Rahaf as you see other kids. Be so ashamed of your anti-Palestinian racism. Be so ashamed that your constituents are begging and pleading that you speak out against this horrific suffering & cruelty against children & you stay silent. Be so ashamed that you put money & power before the lives of precious children of God. Be so ashamed that our religions tell us to give to the poor, feed the hungry and open our arms to all children & you pretend that they mean for only some people & children. They don't. We all know it's not true. Don't lie anymore. Who are you if you can't stand up for actual children & are more worried about your power, money and career? Please don't lose you humanity. It's not worth anything you gain. Celebrities as well. If everyone says something it becomes less controversial to starve kids so say something. God help everyone have the strength to say something.
