Easier too use than 4 Dante, thank goodness. Still has a billion moves lmao. It's hard to get used to how different Balrog is from Ifrit, Beowulf, and Gilgamesh, but I like it switching between forms a lot.

His theme seems fine to me, more my thing than V's, less my thing than Nero's.

Cavaliere Angelo is awesome

That's the 3rd best boss in the series right there. I'm still feeling the rush from how amazing that felt.

It's because of the other SC enforcers. Renne and Bleublanc got actual followups, and Luciola got a short but pretty good scene in Reverie writing her out.

SC portray's Zin and Walter's battle as a cliffhanger, but instead we get a mandated throwaway scene every game in Calvard.

My track record of guessing them isn't good lol

I never expected Zin to have Olivier level importance or anything, but it's still shocking just how little Falcom does with him. Feels like he's only here out of obligation tbh.

I haven't commented on it that much, but Horizon really, really, REALLY loves these food scenes. And so do I. Sweets have been a running joke this arc, but this game has pushed it to full on meal analysis. Reminds me a lot of Fate/Mahoyo.

Upgraded nothing at the start of mission 3 to save up and bought Enemy Step right before the boss.

And to think I questioned why they made you buy something so “situational” in 4 at first. I can’t play without it now. 😭

I miss buster a bit, but the breakers already have so much variety. Love the shockwave one that blasts you and the enemy across the room!

The bosses isn't something I minded that much. What irritates me a little is a bunch of small decisions with how Dante is given his weapons.

Stuff like Yamato being Dante's one good option for dealing with the knight's shields, but he only gets it in his last mission

Those are great ones, I really love the one after Dante fights Agnus too. My favorite is the Nero DT one. Super raw and does a great job selling Nero's character.

It's a really colorful game too, it's a nice change from all the gothic horror the series has going on.

A lot of individual parts of 4 I actually like more, but there's just a few things holding it back. Nero's parts are up there.

The Credo mission was my favorite! Good length, solid enemies, really fun boss at the end.

One of the best parts of the story too.
