Casadei sent off. Midfielder shown a very dubious second yellow card in the fifth minute of stoppage time. Have to feel for him there.
Thatβll rule him out of the next game.

Sam Rak-Sakyi and Tyrique George are on for the last few minutes, replacing KDH and Sancho - both of whom have been good

28.11.2024 19:33 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 1 π 02-0! Chelsea been a little bit under the cosh in the last 10, but a lovely combo between KDH and Sancho puts him into the box and he cuts back for Mudryk, who lashes home into the top bins.
Another quality goal. #cfc
Nkunku through on goal, 1v1 with the keeper, but shoots straight at him. Then signals to the bench after picking up a knock.
Carney Chukwuemeka is on to replace him
Badiashile and Disasi the gift that keeps on giving (to the opposition).
BB passes to Jorgensen when heβs not ready. Then Disasi tries to let ball out only for Scienza to keep in and he nearly scores.
Chelsea never do it the easy wayβ¦
1-0, Nkunku with a brilliant piece of play. Controls a knee-high ball from Sancho and strikes into the corner.
Seven goals in Europe, 11 in total this season. How is he not playing week in, week out? #cfc
Chelsea stepping it up now. Neat move on the edge of the box between Mudryk, KDH and Nkunku.
Later wriggled through 3 defenders but canβt beat the keeper.
Referee was going to book Mudryk for diving. Mudryk goes down with an injury. Now going to VAR monitor to review it - and decides he is right.
Doesnβt book Mudryk though. Think thatβs good refereeing as it wasnβt a penalty. #cfc
Nkunku tries to lob the keeper and itβs a few yards over. That shouldβve been 1-0.
28.11.2024 18:17 β π 0 π 0 π¬ 0 π 0Aside from a few Marc Guiu half-chances, Chelsea havenβt got going against Heidenheim.
Jorgensen pulls off a terrific save to deny Wanner, who looks a big talent. #cfc
Might not be the last, but I seem to remember a lot of negativity towards Ramires when he first arrived. In technical terms he wasnβt great when he signed. Then people saw that engine, acknowledged his desire and he transformed into a cult hero after scoring some important goals.

What in the global warming is going on
Chelsea away from home look like a top side. Itβs something to do with the tactics, which are a bit more pragmatic than the slow possession football we play at home.
In open games, #cfc really come to life. Which isnβt what youβd expect from a Maresca team.
If you wanted to know how superstitious footballers are, take a look at their boots.
Toni Kroos wore the same Adidas 11Pro pair for 11 years.
Now Enzo FernΓ‘ndez has reverted to wearing the Nike Phantom GX Elite boots he had after signing for Chelsea in Jan 2023. #cfc
BEFORE AFTER
Van de Zandschlup holds his nerve despite Nadalβs fight back and wins 6-4, 6-4.
Nadal loses, but like a winner. He gave it everything.
Really hope thatβs not the end.
Nadal breaks back! The tension is palpable. I think Botic is starting to feel the nerves.
Now to see if he can claw back another game on serve.
Van de Zandschlup has just played two sensational forehands to secure the double break. Never seen him play this well.
4-1 up in the second set and itβs pretty much break or bust for Nadal now. Heβs giving it everything.
Oh wow. That was like watching Rafa roll back the years. The determination to win that point, despite Boticβs best efforts, really was a joy to watch.
Heβs fighting to stay in it, but he *is* fighting.
Since writing this, Van de Zandschlup has settled and secures the break in the 9th, converting to take the first set 6-4.
Nadal needs to rediscover that intensity he had in the first few games.
Nadal looking a lot sharper than he was when I last watched him play in the Swedish Open in Bastad. Playing some really aggressive forehands as well.
VdZ looks a bit daunted by the occasion and you canβt blame him, given whatβs at stake.
Una leyenda del tenis. Una leyenda en nuestras vidas.
Si es el ΓΊltimo partido en la carrera de Nadal, tenemos que mostrar nuestro apoyo a este gran hombre.
Espero que ese no sea el final.
Vamos Rafa πͺπΈ
Aaaand of course Kane plays an incredible pass from deep to set up Bellingham to win the penalty.
Was my plan all alongβ¦ π€₯
I never understand why Kane thinks he should be getting involved as a deep-lying CF.
Hasnβt got the footwork, sharpness or control to be floating that deep. And when he does, it swallows up Bellinghamβs space.
Everyone knows heβs a terrific finisher. Just stay in the box, like any true No 9 does.
A piece on Enzo Fernandez, who is starting to find his feet again after a difficult few months.
Some/most of his problems are self-inflicted. But if he continues to deliver, Maresca will have to give serious consideration to recalling him. #cfc

Anyone else getting a warning flag saying they have an invalid handle? No idea how to change it either.
