Today at work, I was seeing a patient of mine I've been working with for quite some time. I made sure to squeeze in their visit today and that I had extra time for some things there.
They said at one point, "thank you so much, you're a rock star Kit"

I think about that thing where people are like, oh if you could go back and talk to 10 or 12 or whatever year old you, would they be proud of you now? Would they think you're cool?
I often think about if I would be bummed out we aren't a rock star and ended up being a nurse

Brief little story because it actually made me feel good about myself for once-
When I was a kid, my main wild career aspiration was to be a "rock star" when I grew up.
My second email ever was "rockstarkit" even (my first one was mousecheese47..)

I don't use clock app anymore, but frequently think about that one time where the app (or at least my algo) completely became a choose your own adventure rpg with the kitty dabloons thing.
I miss that. We knew peace so briefly, but that was it.
