poor baby kept me up all night cuz she was feeling nauseous from the antibiotics, so she kept asking me to make her better and I couldn't 🥺🥺🥺😔

apparently my dog saw me constantly going to see doctors and taking lots of medication and said "my turn 🙂" so now we had to take her to a vet two days in a row 💀

it's "just" a minor skin infection but it's causing so much trouble I'm so exhausted

I totally understand the feeling though. I try to remember that social media is a place where everyone else can easily customize their experience so if they'd wanna see less of me they simply wouldn't follow

I've wasted whole days with twitter or Facebook back when those were relevant, too. The only difference I see is that tiktoks content algorithms are better.

tbh I haven't found any app to be worse than others in that regard, any type of media can be misused

I am deeply suspicious of the way tiktok especially is constantly demonised after being at the core of so many social justice movements

I'd understand annoyance with WotC if they were just pumping out soulless mass-produced slop for the sake of it but so far the UB decks I've seen seemed to be made with genuine love for the franchise they were referencing

I recently started playing solely because I found out there's Doctor Who themed Commander Decks and the way the mechanics accurately reflect familiar characters, storylines, and world building made it way less scary to learn!

So I wanna talk about this for a sec.

This is a great example of gatekeeping, and it happens among nerd hobbies frequently. The idea that "the thing I'm a fan of can never do anything I don't like and anyone who likes those things isn't a real fan" is toxic and harmful.
