cozy (she/her) - she is mentally only half sentient, other half driven only by wild animal instinct. she speaks in sentence fragments and loves to bite people, but she's kind and polite about it! always asks first, never kills.

she still believes she was right. more than that, she feels so wrong in her small kitty body after feeling the entire expanse of the void and those possessed with amulets as extensions of herself. but for now, she plays the roll of a passive victim

in reality, she did indeed have less control in the end, but overall she had a lot more control than she let on. she truly believed in her cause and put a lot of effort into creating that utopia for everyone to live in.

well, no actually. it was certainly easy to play it off this way though, with her cute face and extra eyes that kind of made her look like she was always crying, she gained sympathy quite easily.

the energy source for her life force had gone out, and she needed a new one quickly or she would die. there was no way she could have known it would go so badly. and, by the end no one had control, right? tourmaline was simply the chosen vessel?

anyways she gets defeated of course. but faces no consequences! you see, even when greed was less powerful, contact with the amulets always had some mind control affect . and furthermore tourmaline had a well known and reasonable explanation for accepting the deal in the first place:

the goal is to claim every living creature into her domain for greed reasons. also, once they are connected they can enter tourm's mindscape which is basically a curated utopia where tourm has full control over everything

she could also summon up void from below, which could be in solid, liquid or gas form. solid can be used to physical harm people, liquid and gas induce personalized nightmare hallucinations in mortals who touch or breathe it

she could control people by giving them amulets. at this level of power the amulets burned and fused with victim's skin, giving tourm (who by this point was going by Avarice) full control over their bodies.

basically her deal is she made a deal with one of Greed's vessels and then basically became the new main vessel for the force of greed in her world. also there was an evil amulet involved. greed amulet

anyways when she got enough souls for power she became this thing:

she also loves to hug and cuddle. and she says stuff like "no prob bob" and "awesome sauce." she's always plotting but never in a harmful way. she's one of my few ocs with actual morals, though you wouldn't expect it from talking to her briefly :3

the kind of friend that would try to make you feel better by throwing you off a cliff so you forget about your problems because you're falling off a cliff (she would save you of course). if you went swimming with her she'd probably get into a splash fight with you.

I'm honestly not sure how to explain why i like her because it mostly lies in how she talks and acts. she's really fun to write for but i actually have no idea how to properly encapsulate her personality into words. she's chaotic, but caring i suppose.

her most frequent hobby is blowing massive holes in the ground with the afformentioned bombs, and making the fantasy equivalent of a roller coster (pushing people into the massive holes and then saving them at the last minute with her wind, and maybe flinging them around a bit more afterwards
