Government approves 'UK's largest' solar farm in Lincolnshire Developers claim it will power about 300,000 homes - making it larger than any currently built.

Overall, it's the 27th approval of a major natonal infrastructure project since Labour came to power.

Tillbridge Solar Project development consent decision announced The Tillbridge Solar Project DCO application has today been granted development consent by the Department for Energy Security and Net Zero.

The UK's largest solar farm has today been approved by the government.

Tillbridge Solar Project in Lincolnshire has potential for up to 500MW of energy - equivalent for 300,000 homes.
