She would nod, "It's almost done..." A pause, "I have a cousin with the same hair color. She married and moved to the north before I left Rome."

"It almost stopped! Here." She would reach out towards him. If permitted she would place her thumb firmly on his. Unafraid of someone else's blood.

Another moment of hesitation. His hair was a similar color to her cousin's. The pain in his voice, that she believed she heard, felt almost like her own. "Yes, but a painful one depending how deep.. and it seems to be. Please. Let me see." She held out her left hand.

Noticing the blood, "I... Don't think you're fine.." looking around herself to find someone to wrap his finger with.

She smiled but only for a moment as if she was correcting herself. The worry in her face vanished,"Please, sit. It's not necessary. Happy you are unharmed." She would nod her head politely.

"Are you... Alright?" She spoke softly. Not wanting to startle him. Keeping her respectful distance.
