βBeing more activeβ is βone of the most impressive things you can do to preserve health of all forms, physical and mentalββ¦βthe best way for people to do this was to build it into their everyday life, for example by walking, cycling or wheeling for transportβ

Hereβs the βelephant in the roomβ with the outstanding (and FAST) growth in urban biking here in Paris β the tension between 2 NATURAL ALLIES, people on bikes and people walking, needs work, lest it become a political wedge issue. For children's sake, stop Carspreading β SUV Alliance
Fear of traffic is regularly cited as a barrier to greater uptake of walking, wheeling and cycling, and the trend towards ever-bigger, ever-heavier SUVs will only make this worse.
@cleancitiescampaign.org backs the SUV Alliance manifesto and is calling on the govt to introduce stricter regs on vehicle design to reverse the trend towards larger bodies and higher bonnets on cars. We want urgent action in the new Road Safety Strategy. 7/8

Paris residents to vote on making 500 more streets pedestrian
