If the idea is that we can all choose the kind of moderation we want, then some of us will want to simply keep things we don't want to see out of our feeds and others will be primarily interested in safety. That's the whole *point* of labelers - no one is forced to use them.

I've mashed my multiple religious upbringings together in a way that works for me and helps me be better. But the most important thing is that everyone find peace for themselves that also doesn't hurt others.

I feel like the funniest thing about my neighborhood is 1) the firemen get whistled at everywhere they go and 2) they absolutely hate the local cops and get in their way on purpose.

Fairly, I don't think anyone gets everything right. I grew up somewhere in between the Catholics, Jews, and Anglicans. But one thing I did learn is that ALL fundamentalists suck. Trad Caths are fundamentalists that mostly converted as adults and they are truly terrible.

The level at which I hate the Trad Caths for not even being able to follow the most basic concepts of Catholicism is vaguely amazing.

If you're going to be "pro-life" and call yourself Catholic, you must *also* be anti-death penalty. We learn this at 5. Ffs.
