Todays Dusky Warbler suddenly started calling from a bush behind me while on a routine yeartick expedition. I could only manage a few record shots before it seemingly evaporated!

Migrant moths from the Swannery this week (nights Tuesday- Friday) Gem, 3 Vestal, 2 Turnip, 8 Radford's, Dark Sword-grass, 30+ Rusty-dot Pearl, 10 Rush Veneer, Olive-tree, Diamond-back. Best for me though was this Dark Chestnut from last night. @migrantmothuk.bsky.social
