I imagine that's quite freeing. While I haven't animated in years I do lots of comics so I still aim for that consistency if possible.

I can agree with that. All the online friends I've ever met were through deviantart or PlayStation chat. Here on socials the interactions are usually pretty scarce for one reason or another.

I can understand that. You may have heard this before, but I wouldn't worry too much about getting your own style. If you continue to focus on improving as you are, that style will form itself as you continue to absorb new inspiration. The more you do it the less you see those individual influences.

I've see a lot of the posing tools. I personally haven't used them because what tends to happen is I would copy their proportions. Which most characters I draw don't have those kind of proportions.

Surge the Tenrec from the IDW Sonic comics has finally cornered Sonic the Hedgehog. She explains how she has chased him all over mobius, and has changed from her usual yellow pants and black shirt to a sparkling black dress. She tells him there is nowhere to run.

Sonic laughs, admitting that yes, surge has been chasing him, but he wanted to see if she could keep up. Since surge can chase sonic down, he tells her that he is into this kind of thing, and takes off his clothes to reveal a suit jacket. They come together in embrace, and share a romantic kiss.

More #sonurge content for everyone's viewing pleasure! The last few ones I did in black and white, and with how fond I've grown of this ship it only felt fair to give them at least a 2 page comic about it.
