I was reading the translators' notes of the edition of the Aeneid I own and discovered the definition of iambic pentameter. I read parts of the poem out loud and when I realized it was 10 syllables exactly, I shouted, "That's so cool!"
I wish I had studied Greek and Roman poetry.
