I'm back! Alas, I did not have as much time as I thought I would to shiny hunt like, at all, but I still got resets in and that's progress enough to me \o/

HELLO!!!!! Starting from today to Sunday, I'm going to be at a convention, and I'm going to try to take advantage of this trip by bringing my Switch Lite and shiny hunting on Shining Pearl ✌️
I'm going to be starting a hunt for shiny Azelf! Will luck be on my side..........

I think what bums me out the most about it is that I won't be able to go back to watching Twitch streams like I have been again during the week. Because my current hyperfixation is Cobblemon/Minecraft, but my computer can't handle both that and Twitch on at the same time.

Now that Safari Week is over I'm not gonna be looking at this account anymore unless something happens that'll make me want to, but yeah. Was fun!

I could very well in theory come back to it later today, but I just don't want to say anything for absolutely sure (I want the shinyyyy)

I had momentarily stopped hunting to do something with the intent of going back to it, but unfortunately, I've been hit with a wave of exhaustion and may call it quits

Not shiny Wooper showing up a little over an hour later after the last shiny but in Platinum that I was able to catch #SafariWeek

SHINY MAREEP IN EMERALD! Threw a ball two times, it broke out after two shakes both times, and then fled </3 Goodbye cotton candy sheep #SafariWeek

Accidentally didn't center the photo well LOL but FOUND *and* CAUGHT shiny Shuckle in SoulSilver! #SafariWeek

I took Tuesday and Wednesday off to rest an injury I had which I have no doubt was bc of the gymnastics I was doing using each system and also typing in Twitch chats, but I don't regret a single moment of it.
I continued Thursday and onward and decreased my number of consoles, just droughting again

I took a pause on shiny hunting today because my shoulder was feeling sore and I figured if I kept going anyway, it would get worse. I was intending to come back to it a bit later in the day, but I got extremely sucked into something, so it's possible that I just won't get back to it until tomorrow

(If we were to go into semantics though, I failed last year's one in Brilliant Diamond and found this one in Shining Pearl, but since I'm not playing Brilliant Diamond this year for reasons, I'm counting it as a reclaim)

THE DROUGHT IS OVER I found a shiny Marill in Shining Pearl which I caught + is a RECLAIM for one that fled last year!!! #SafariWeek

The three day drought is real HELP

(I *am* going to post my Safari Week finds here I just... haven't found any yet for days 1 and 2 lol)

I WILL dedicate myself to Safari Week this year and will show off my finds here as I get them :)

I don't know how to start this basically just bummer shiny hunting hyperfixation definitely died o7 (albeit not forever, technically)

man!!!! I want to get into shiny hunting again!!!! I'll see if I can commit to this Xerneas hunt in Ultra Sun and some other hunts I've dropped in the following days.. or something !!

Results: A chock full of NOTHING!!!!!!!! Although I MIGHT keep going until I get the legend I'm going for in it since I was TECHNICALLY already in the middle of this hunt, I just had dropped it until this weekend

I haven't looked at this website because I fell out of shiny hunting but I'll be doing DA Freaking Weeking this weekend and will post my finds if I get any, maybe it'll do something to me o7

Of course I don't feel obligated to post or anything, I just feel bad leaving it to dust like this, but uh. Yeah insert final words of send off message here

Everything else I do outside of posting shiny Pokemon on social media is stuff I don't share on... well... social media, so I don't feel the urge or desire or what have you to really stay active here

I've been pretty much treating this site the same as Twitter anyway in regards to my activity on it and how I find myself more inclined to keep a tab open on my profile and not whatever the equivalent of a timeline or dashboard is on this website

My motivation for shiny hunting has been dying lately so this account has been chock full of cricket noises

Now if only it were either the other 2 regis to subject me to over a week hunt instead of somewhat frequent second guessing myself

Shiny hunting Regice in 3D games is really just
"Okay that one isn't shiny. Okay that one isn't shiny either. Wait this one looks slightly different than the last reset! Oh that's not shiny. Nevermind." rinse and repeat hundreds of more times

Shiny Cobalion in Ultra Sun ✌️

So basically I'm back to Cobalion and going to try to motivate myself to get back to Regice in Brilliant Diamond yippee
(Then when I get Cobalion I'll be back on the Fennekin starter soft reset hunt)

But I guess there's something about me that's like grrr I don't want to spend too much time not shiny hunting, I want them shinies!!!! Sparkly differently colored pixelated pocket monsters!!!! Love those freaks!!!!
